General questions

To help you understand the steps you need to take to get your digital goodie, we have created a How-it-Works guideline.

We currently support our own account and Strava. With Strava, you can simply select the activity you want to do with us after you have completed it. If you have a separate account, you need to upload a GPX file.

We take “elapsed time” instead of “moving time” for the reason that it will be like a race. When you stop in a race, the clock keeps running. The clock only stops when you cross the finish line.

As with a real race, you can only enter one run per race. Multiple submission of activities for a race is therefore not possible.

You can view the data we have stored about you in your account at any time.

Yes, you can also register other people such as your children, family members or friends for a race.

To do this, you need to log in with your account and go down to the home page of your account and select the “Profiles” option.

Here you can create profiles in your account for members of your family, children, friends or any running enthusiasts who cannot create their own account. You manage these profiles at any time. Profiles cannot log in to virtual BIB on their own.

Goodies

Before you can download your BIB, you have to enter your desired name and number in your account.

  1. Then go to your account
  2. Select the race
  3. Click on “Goodies”
  4. Now you can download your race BIB

Where do I get my GPX file?

Almost every platform offers to download your activity as GPX file. You need this if you have opened an account directly with us and not via a platform and want to submit your activity to us.

Connect your watch with the USB cable to the computer. You can now download your GPX file to the computer via Garmin Express.

  1. visit connect.garmin.com and log in
  2. choose in the navigation “activities” > “all activities”
  3. search for the desired activity and click on it
  4. click on the cogwheel in the upper right corner and choose the option “Export as GPX file
  5. choose the location on your computer. Done.
  1. visit strava.com and log in
  2. click on “activities” on the left side below your profile picture
  3. search for the activity you want and click on it
  4. click on the three dots in the left navigation and choose the option “Export GPX”
  5. choose the location on your computer. Done.

Applies to: A300, A360, A370, Grit X, M200, M400, M430, M450, M460, M600, Polar Flow web service, V650, V800, Vantage M, Vantage V, Vantage V Titan, Vantage V2

  1. Go to Diary.
  2. Click a training session to open it.
  3. Click Export session at the bottom of the page.
  4. Choose you want to export a GPX file. Exporting the GPX file as a zip package makes downloading faster.
  5. You need to extract the ZIP file first, before you import the GPX into virtualBIB.

Adidas Running unfortunately does not offer its users to download individual GPX files. This has to be done in a somewhat complicated way by downloading all files. You can find instructions here.

Yes, you can also submit an activity manually.

Just go to the registered race in your account and select “Submit activity”. At the bottom of the page you will find the option to submit an activity manually.
